Excellent Product

Purchased the thule traverse over the yakima because of the fact that you dont need to buy a locking mechanism and the easiness of installation. The square bars are way more practical than the round bars and fit J cradles for my kayaks nicely. When you tighten down the transverse feet it shows how much more you need to tighten and when you have reached your limit so you dont over tighten. Taking out the t handle wrenches is all you need to do for your security so get the thule rack!

Quick and easy installation

After the purchase of a new car, I had to upgrade my Thule rack system, since the fit kit for my make and model was discontinued. The new towers are an improvement over the old Aero feet and and proved very quick and easy to install. Works great! Makes hauling two kayaks on my little Honda Fit a pleasure. Highly recommend.

I have a Scion 06 xB and I bought........ everything I needed........ or so the guy at the store told me. I am missing the KIT1172 which is a very important part for my car fit guide. it is what holds the bloody feet to the car. So i get home so ready to get all this put together and alas no brackets or roof protective rubber feet. so now i gotta shell out another 78-84 bucks.... I got the feet, locks, bars, fairing, But Nothing to mount it to the roof......... SO MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING YOU NEED FROM THE FIT GUIDE FOR YOUR CAR
