Excellent Product

I was very happy with my purchase of the 634S Sonic Cargo Box. It is a product with thoughtful design for the end user. With no tools required, my thirteen year-old son and myself were able to have it on our vehicle in about 10 minutes. I also appreciated the dual side-entry, which is great when you don't know exactly where you are going to be parked or accessing the box. The locks also provided peace-of-mind on our entire journey knowing that it could not be opened, nor taken, since all of the hardware for attachment is accessed from inside.
Amazon's Prime delivery was an added bonus and was convenient and simple.
My only regret was that I did not go with the XL...I could have used the larger space for my family of 6.

Fits nicely on Mini Cooper S Countryman All4

I installed this on Mini Cooper S Countryman. First I isntalled the MINI OEM base roof rack system and installed this cargo box on top of the base rack system. I initially thought about using Thule Rack, but decided to use the OEM base rack, which turned out a good choice.
The cargo box gave me the much needed extra storage space for the car. The length and the width was just right. The pig tale antenna was in the way when the box was installed so I removed it and installed one of those shorty antenna and it worked out perfectly. The shorter antenna does not touch the cargo box at all.
Installation of the box was very easy with the locking system. WARNING: Please do not open both sides of the box using the keys. One side at a time only! Well... like many other men, I didn't read the instruction completely and at one point I opened the box from both sides at the same time with key in both sides. Big mistake. It is really hard to properly close it alone. It is not the problem of the box but something expected.
Other than that, the box is really great! The fit and finish and the paint job and all met or exceeded my exectation. I recommend the box to anyone. : )

Worked well, but "feels" flimsier than I would expect when opening/closing and working with it.

Very easy to install. If you have "stiff" luggage, it may be tough to use the space at the edges due to the shape and arms that support the top. I carry duffle bags and other soft bags that are OK to mold to fit into the space.
When opening it, the top flexes quite a bit -- more than I would expect (hence why I said it felt flimsy). However, once it's locked down for travel, the rigidity is there. I guess it's a balance of stiffness vs. weight (and cost to manufacture).
I have a GMC Acadia -- the L box fit, but still there is plenty of room to fit the XL if you need more space.
Gas mileage seemed to suffer little --maybe by 1 mpg highway at speeds +/-5 MPH of the speed limits.
