Ordered this helmet before actually trying it on in person somewhere which turned out to be a mistake. The next day after I ordered it I stopped by REI and saw the same helmet there and tried it on. This helmet looks huge on your head! It has a sort of baseball helmet shape but the space from where your head goes and the top of the helmet is a lot.

I measured my head before purchasing (61cm); I ordered a large which says 59-63cm, but this helmet was still tight without a beanie; I'd advise going a size up or rather try one on at a store before ordering. Try to find any model helmet of the brand you want and get an idea of what their sizing is before buying on amazon.

Also there was a problem with the ear pads in that they just keep falling out of place! They aren't actually connected to the helmet, just tucked into the lining of the helmet and they will fall out when you try to put it on.

I ended up going with another Smith Optics helmet; the Smith Optics Holt Helmet
which was a better fit and a sleeker design, not to mention cheaper.

disorganized design,requires too much adjusting,ear-pads fall off constantly. I like Smith Vantage and Variance models better. much better and simpler features are found in those models

it looks great but buy a size small it comes so big it looks ridiculous its at the point where i don't want to wear it it looks so bad. and the ear pads fall off all of the time
