WINDSTOPPER� Soft Shell fabric is used where the worst of the weather hits; your face and front of the neck. Soft, insulating Motion Fleece at the back of the neck provides added warmth. Thermodynamic fabric at the crown and ear panels fits smoothly under a helmet without bulk and doesn�t block sound from traveling to your ears so that you can hear everything your partner communicates to you. A laser die-cut breathing port and breathable fabric allows body heat and the moisture of breath to escape.

great warmth!

This is a very good product! It keeps my head and face nice and toasty, even if there's lots of wind. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs it!

Does the job!

Im what you call a "hell raiser", so im really active. This helmetclava does the job, but when i start to breath heavier i happen to inhale more of the clava into my mouth and not enough air. Needs more air cells to allow more air flow in and out of the front of the clava. This clava does decrease the amount of fog in my helmet and the wind stopper around the bottom of the clava saves my lower half of my head from the cold wind. Over all, im happy with it but O.R. will probally make one better, because thats what they do.

Great for Motorcyclists!!

Our son got a motorcycle this fall & assembled lots of needed gear. Once colder weather set in, despite a good helmet & jacket, his face & neck were always chllled after riding a short while...so I gifted him with this balaclava & he loves it! It gives him so much protection from the cold & only the eyes are uncovered plus the continual frigid draft blowing on his neck is gone as this is made to tuck down inside a jacket or other garment if wished. He's 6 ft 3 & it works well for him so should be ample for other tall people. A good purchase, for sure.
