perfect fit

I hunted and hunted for helmets and this one fits my head the best without making me look like an alien, the ear pads fit snug to keep the wind off but still allow me to hear well. Love that my headphones can zip right in to the ear padding. I have Anon goggles and the fit is perfect.

good helmet for a fair price

This is my second Smith helmet, the first one had to be replaced because of a crack in the helmet caused by a collision with a tree. I ended up with a head ache but no serious injury. So I replaced it with another Smith helmet. The color is wild, love it. The only complaint is that the chin strap padding is really junk. Other than that I like the helmet - it fits me well

Runs Small, Has Large Vents

This helmet runs small and has large vents not shown in the picture.
I'm always cold when skiing, and the bicycle-style, vented helmets are much too cold for me. I thought this was going to be warmer since it has no vents shown in the picture, and there are vents in the back of the helmet (not shown). In order to "cover" the vents, it has flimsy velcro flaps on the underside of the helmet that doesn't sufficiently cover the holes.
At least my current vented helmet has a "switch" that moves a cover over the holes.
I purchased the same size as my current helmet it was uncomfortably snug, so sizing runs small.
